![]() I had a great time shooting at The Rock Shop last night in Brooklyn. I experimented with a faster shutter and I liked the results. That being said I had read an article during the day about a Nikon photographer who brought his ISO up to 8000 and used noise reduction in post to get great shots without flash. My intention for the night was to go without flash. That lasted all of 15 minutes. I couldn't take missing the shots and I am just not sure my Canon can do it. I brought it up to the max (6400) and the shots were utterly unusable and as we all know with bands there are only so many songs, only so many moments available to catch so I didn't want to screw around. This shot was taken after the band performance was over. The lead singer of the band (Jeanine Moss) and I were chatting and I just had to pull my gear back out. I loved the light.. I loved her positioning.. I loved that I had her still for a minute LOL. Doesn't hurt that she is gorge. I haven't even offloaded the rest of the images yet but I know this one to be one my favorite. I like it best full size. If you would like to see it full size just click! ![]() Shooting J&The 9's at Piano's on Ludlow tomorrow night, 10PM sharp!
